Hello, I think I need something explained to me. I am the only person that uses my Linux box. I have a POP account on my ISP which I use fetchmail to retrieve my messages and procmail to deliver them. I have it set up as a cron job as follows: fetchmail -m "/usr/bin/procmail -f -" I have noticed that after the cron job executes I get the following messages in syslog: Necropolis CROND[1980]: (cspencer) CMD (fetchmail -m "/usr/bin/procmail -f -") Necropolis postfix/sendmail[1982]: fatal: No maildrop directory maildrop: No such file or directory Necropolis CROND[1978]: (cspencer) MAIL (mailed 55 byes of output but got status 0x0001) The interesting thing is that both Postfix and Sendmail are disabled, so I don't exactly know why its generating messages. Can soneone help explain this to me and what I can do to get rid of the messages? -Chris
