xvidtune can change width heigh and position of the screen on the fly,
and generate corresponing FX86Config string.
You can run xvidtune, tune screen then insert generated line on the
corresponding place in XF86Config.
If you can't get good picture parameters this way, you can try change
DotClock parameter in XF86Config
by hand and experement with xvidtune again.

ModeLine "1024x768i" 45(DotClock) 1024 1048 1208 1264 768 776 784 817

But this experements can _broke_ you monitor or video card.
