As root, do a rpm --rebuild NVIDIA_kernel-file-name and rpm --rebuild NVIDIA_glx-file-name. In /usr/src/RPM/RPMS/i686 you'll find the binaries. Install them. In your X configuration for XFree 4 (/etc/X11/XF86Config-4), you'll find a section called "Device". In there, there's a line "Driver". Make that to Read 'Driver "nvidia"'. Done. When you install a new kernel, you'll have to rebuild the NVIDIA_kernel src.rpm and reinstall it with --force. You don't need to compile the kernel by yourself, the Mandrake kernels contain everything (and much more) that your need.
