I had a working Mandrake 7.1 system. Decided to upgrade to 7.2 I let it format my / partition but not my /home, /opt and /user/local which are on separate partitions. All seemed to go smoothly. On bootinto to linux Mandrake 7.2 however, the boot stops immediately after lilo (or is it grub) shows me my choices and I select the default. It boots fine if I select "failsafe". I looked at the logs but they only exist for the 2 successful "failsafe" boots and therefore do not tell me what is wrong with the failed ones. Any suggestions for help? Thanks. Jeff Malka
