I found out that editing simply doesn't work. I had to disable imhweel ( unistalling ) to enable all gtk scrolling. If I could get used to kde , i would reinstall ... but gnome is still my def. desktop so ... I hope I find a solution soon , because my hack of .Xdefaults to enable scrolling in Netscape sux ( only works with numlock off , and no correct updating of screen - it smears when windows are on top of it ) You could try the @Exclude directive for some gtk apps "gnomec" #Exclude -- Nicky Peeters <http://sienar.net> --------------------- Running KDE2 for a while ;-)
