I don't know about your install floppy but I could not mount my install
floppy disk.
It gave an error:  unknown filesystem, unable to mount  Could not mount it
as ext2 or vfat,  didn't try minix fs but That is hardly used anymore so I
just assumed it should be ext2.

I can mount a floppy that is made with bootdrake  but the installation
floppy disk did not work.

But you are right.  You can just mount the install floppy (if that works)
and then adjust it.
I will try to mount it as minix floppy tonight maybe it will work.  Would be
easier thean loopback.
