Hello!

I want a program that will save large numbers of E-mails into one large file
for the purpose of archiving messages from a Mailing List in my inbox and
putting them on a web site in a Plain-Text format.

However, the two mail progams I use, Netscape and KMail 2.0, both save the
full header information for the E-mails, resulting in not only a very open
map showing lots of information about the subscribers, but also in extremely
huge files, since the headers are often larger than the message body itself.

Does anyone know of of a script, or of scripting resources where I can get a
script that can remove all the extra information from the E-mail header? I'm
looking to keep only:

I know a little bit of Perl and sed but I'm just starting to learn regular
expressions and I don't feel comfortable enough with it to mangle up my
E-mail. In addition, I need something as fast as possible.

If nothing else, though, if someone can provide me with some help on how to
parse E-mail headers, then that would be good too. For example, I don't know
how to pattern-match headers, so if someone knows something about this please
tell me.

Thank you!
