Heh heh.. is your cdrom that you want for audio is listed with the 
supermount option in /etc/fstab?  if so make a /dev/cdaudio link (ln -s) to 
the actual cdrom dev file and point kscd to /dev/cdaudio since that /dev 
file ISN'T listed in /etc/fstab, supermount won't get called.

check /etc/fstab, see what options are different .. kind'a stumped on 
that... and the next bit....

on the above i am looking for the list of assigned major/minor numbers to 
find it so at least you'll know what it should be..
