my mandrake distro v 7.1
i try to install auc to my mandrake 7.1 but error in libxml

i have install xml version
libxml2-2.2.2-2mdk.i586.rpm
but when i check in /usr/lib still version 1.8.7

i try to remove libxml version 1.8.7 but error

is there any way to solve it (i try to force link but when i reboot my
box force link will restore to default xml (old) :)
so now i have 2 xml lib but my box read old one even i install new one
