I assume you're dealing with the downloadable evaluation copy. What's happening is that the script is verifying the kernel version you're running by checking /proc/version. The latest valid kernel in that script is 2.2.16 and so you get the default 'no worky' response. > I would appreciate any help from anyone who has done this.. I haven't yet seen 7.2 as stable enough to do work with so I haven't done it. There is a kernel patch on the website for 2.2.17 but I think you're in a Catch-22 situation with the evaluation version. There is both source and 686-kernel available from www.opennms.org/~ben/ I can't vouch for whether they work or not. What I will tell you is that in my experience, Win4Lin is a tremendous software solution if you need to run a few Windoze apps in your Linux environment. Their support folks are knowledgable and very helpful. At the same time, they don't seem to have a clue how to market a product and you're bumping into one of the places where they're stumbling over their own feet. Cheers --- Larry
