I'm trying to upgrade to MDK-72 my Laptop(Sony VAIO Z505DRK). I don't have
a CD drive so I'm upgrading using NFS (this is the way I installed
MDK-702!). The installer/upgrader lunchs find but when it comes to the
point(3rd) of "Checking Hardarwe" of the GUI I get the following
error message:
"insmod'ing module ide-cd failed"
and I can not proceed any further, trying to "skip" it would simple
reboot the machine ... arghhhhhhhhh.
If I try to use "expert text" to avoid the "hardware checking" still MDK72
does by itself and locks again ...
Does anybody have any clue on what this could be?
Any/all help would be much appreciated.
