I have this problem as well.. If I leave my computer untouched for a period of time (long enough for the monitor to turn itself off) my USB mouse stops completely. It's an Intelli-Eye, and the light actually goes out completey! Any ideas? I'm thinking it's a power management thing... but where are the settings kept for that?
