"I have upgraded my Mandrake 7.1 to 7.2 " That's the problem, don't upgrade, install "fresh"... I.E. Reformat and install. 7.1 leaves too many things behind which will kill 7.2. It's well worth doing! -JMS -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Paul Stear Sent: Friday, December 01, 2000 12:11 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [expert] Mandrake 7.2 upgrade problem Hi all, I have upgraded my Mandrake 7.1 to 7.2 today and have a few problems. When booting from the cdrom to upgrade the system hung half way through the boot sequence. So I rebooted into 7.1 and did the upgrade from there, all seemed to go well but the system would not boot, so again I booted using my old kernal and it worked. However, I am now in KDE2 and cannot even run the file manager - I get the error - Konqueror - The Crash Handler saying:- The application Konqueror crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV) Can any body help me please Thanks Paul
