I had the same problem version with an earlier version of mandrake - not sure 
offhand which one it was though - maybe 6.1 or 7.  It was posted as a bug on 
the mandrake site and there was an upgrade for it.  You will have to do a bit 
of searching for it if that's your problem - I can't remember exactly where 
it was posted.
