Ok... just d/l'ed and installed Java2 Runtime Environment (j2re-1_3_0-linux-rpm.bin) and still cannot pull up applets... BAH!!! Maybe I need to downgrade to 7.1..... Just make sure you read all of the documentation pertaining to installation before you attempt to install it.
