If you have a boot floppy, you can resolve the problem so: (1) you enter into Linux (2) you substitute grub with lilo simply launching the command: /sbin/lilo Another possibility, if you have the linux loader in the main boot record: (1) you boot the system with the first disk of DOS (2) when the program asks if you want to install DOS or exit, you exit (pressing F3) (3) you confirm your decision pressing again F3 (4) when you get the A> prompt, you launch the command: fdisk /mbr (5) so, the main boot record should be fully cleared (6) you enter into Linux by your boot floppy (7) you launch: /sbin/lilo (8) finally ... you've finished. > > Not so simple question: > I like grub better than LILO, can I keep Grub, but use redhat?
