Hi List, Here is my fstab; /dev/hda5 / ext2 defaults 1 1 none /dev/pts devpts mode=0620 0 0 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom auto user, noauto, nosuid, exec, nodev,ro 0 0 /dev/cdrom2 /mnt/cdrom2 auto user, noauto, nosuid, exec, nodev,ro 0 0 /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto sync, user, noauto, nosuid, nodev 0 0 /dev/hda1 /mnt/windows vfat user,exec,umask=0 0 0 none /proc proc defaults 0 0 /dev/hda6 swap swap defaults 0 0 To which I wish to add another LM partition so that I can access a Linux partition and a Windows partition on the same drive from the current Linux Mandrake partition. I would like to add the following; /dev/hda7 / ext2 defaults ? ? <----It is these numbers I am primarily concerning myself with as to whether or not the second should be set to; 2 2 or 3 3 or something all together different, also I am booting with Grub so also information on editing its conf file to show two different linux partitions and a windows partition on the same drive. Again my wish is to have Grub start with one-Windows and two-Linux partitions on the boot screen and to be able to access an old Linux partition from a desktop link on my new one, just like I already do with Windows from Linux-Mandrake. Much thanks, and Happy Holidays! mrweb
