In the release notes for the most recent 2.4 kernel test version, it states that PNP OS set to Yes is under development currently. Generally, I disable that feature regardless of what I install on the system. Windows tends to get baffled by it, and quitefrankly, I never even bothered to try it with Linux. At any rate, I just wanted to inform you that as of the last version of 2.4 that was released (pre) they are still attempting to implement proper PNP OS = YES support.
