It is my understanding that 7.2 is not compatable with previous distros. The only problem free "upgrade" to 7.2 which contains the new file system is to do a clean install. I was told the same will be true of the next distro which is scheduled to be released late spring or early summer. BTW, http://www.lsl.com has several different Mdk tools at $1.89 per CD. Pj
