I installed the 2.1 upgrade RPM's last night. The install went well with three
exceptions.
1) Every file (with kdeaddutils exception --nodeps needed) after installation gave
a /usr/bin/removemimetypes ??perl error of Argument too long.
Didn't hurt though.
2) It appears that kickerrc needs to be removed, else you cant login.
Is the panel incompatible with 2.0 panel ??
3) It appears that you need to shutdown and fresh power up else I kept getting
octet/stream no found, then if you pressed or not the ok button, It would take
down X.
Don't know why, but I couldn't install kdetoys until almost the very end. However
I forget what the error was now... Some dependency prob.
Other than that all things I have seen are fine so far. Java still not working in
Konqueror?? I can't get it to work at all here
Also why is CD audio sound crystal clear, but kde sounds (login,shutdown) still
so distorted ??? This is as either root or user too. My sound card is Yamaha
