I am unable to create functional cdrom, floppy, zip, hdd devices, nor
functional trash or autostart folders on my desktop.
Any device I create doesn't do anything when selected. The devices are all
supermount devices and I can get to them via an xterm.
Trash and Autostart, when selected, will not open. Konqueror will not open
them. After trying (by selecting them on my desktop) and checking
.xsession-errors, it contains:
Syntax Error: Unknown command '/home/patrick/Desktop/Autostart'
Syntax Error: Unknown command '/home/patrick/Desktop/Trash'
How stupid can konqueror be? No matter how I create them konqueror will not
open them when I select them...but it WILL open them if I get to them via my
Home folder (which I had to copy from the panel to the desktop - it behaved
the same way as Trash and Autostart otherwise).
How does one create devices and functional folders that konqueror will open
on the desktop?
