Hello,
I've got mdk 7.2 and kde2.1beta1 and although I don't loose the settings in
kcontrol (I can see my chosen image in the preview) but up to this day I've
never seen the image on the background.
You did "Apply" your changes I suppose?
Let me know if you ever get a background at all. Else, it's only a minor
discomfort.
