Hi, I'm trying to compile an application that uses qt-1.4x. I have installed
the kde1-compat package, downloaded qt-1.45 and applied the patch that
someone send to this list some time ago.

I set QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt-1.45 and KDEDIR=/usr/lib/kde1-compat, added
/usr/lib/kde1-compat/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf, but when doing ./configure I get
this error:

checking for Qt... libraries /usr/lib/qt-1.45//lib, headers
/usr/lib/qt-1.45//include
checking if Qt compiles without flags... yes
checking for moc... /usr/lib/qt-1.45//bin/moc
checking for rpath... yes
checking for KDE... libraries /usr/lib/kde1-compat//lib, headers
/usr/lib/kde1-compat//include

checking for KDE headers installed... yes
checking for KDE libraries installed... configure: error: your system fails
at linking a small KDE application!
Check, if your compiler is installed correctly and if you have used the
same compiler to compile Qt and kdelibs as you did use now

any hint?
thanks.
