Well, irq 6 is a bad choice, it belongs to floppy. I
advice to shut the com2 off, and if not using usb, all
the usb stuff too, from the bios, that will give you
extra irqs :) And most probably your modem will use
com2's irq.
ps: if wimdoz finds the unused usb, it will give them
irq too, so disable the usb controllers in wimdoz to
get rid of that.
