I recently acquired a Epson 900 from CompUSA for
the steal of a price of 179$ !!! This was an amazingly
excellant buy! I have also used several HP's sucessfully
however I recommend to anyone considering buying a
new printer for Linux to read through the very informative
pages at http://www.mandrakeuser.org/hardware/hcups.html#buyprinter
Through them I decided to buy the Epson and it is VERY NICE!!!
A caveat for all color-inkjets is of course the coast of the
print cartridges. The bw and color for the Epson set me back
nearly 70$ for both and the HPs are not much better.
