I believe you would do something like this:
1. Copy the fonts somewhere under /usr/share/fonts/.
2. Run "ttmkfdir -o fonts.scale".
3. Run "mkfontdir".
4. If you created a new directory of fonts, add it the catalogue in
/etc/X11/fs/config.
5. Run "chkconfig --add xfs" to make sure xfs runs at startup.
6. Restart the font server with "/etc/rc.d/init.d/xfs restart".
