The 7.2 Deluxe box I looked at last week said something about the
2.2.17 kernel and being able to try the 2.4 kernel.  That box, by the
way, made no reference to KDE 1.99 either.

If you're running 7.2, I encourage you to download KDE2.1 and install
it.
