I may have noticed this thread in the middle, but just went thru an upgrade for
rpm from 3.04 to 3.05-27 (incrementally, from the rpm ftp site). You can use
the libbzip2_1-1.0.1-7mdk pkg to satisfy your libbz2.so.1 dependency.
menu-2.1.5-42mdk will take care of your menu issue. Apologize if I've missed
the point of this thread entirely, but if not, don't forget to be paranoid &
run --rebuilddb manually.
