I am using LM 7.2 PowerPack Deluxe and KDE 2.1 rpm's from the download site
mentioned about a month ago on the list. All of my folders open perfectly and
after showing konquerer the path, it works fine with java. My system is an
AMD K6-2 450, ASUS MoBo, 128Mb RAM, ATI (ElCheapO) 8Mb AGP Video, Generic 52X
CDROM, Iomega 8x4x32 CDRW, Fujitsu 17.8Gb Hdd.
CD's Burn better than the Winderz counterpart software and wine even finds
both CD's with out any trouble.
I just created a link (on the desktop) to my cdrom (52X generic) and it works
like a charm, here's the output of the link as viewed in Kedit:
-- [Desktop Action Eject]
Exec=kdeeject %v
Name=Eject
[Desktop Entry]
Actions=Eject
Dev=/dev/cdrom2
FSType=auto
Icon=cdrom_mount
MountPoint=/mnt/cdrom2
ReadOnly=false
Type=FSDevice
UnmountIcon=cdrom_unmount

One thing I did different than what it seems you did is to use the right
click menu, is this the desktop menu you mentioned?
The reason I ask is, there is reference to "enable desktop menu" somewhere in
the configuration for the desktop and I've had customers having trouble when
using it...
