I am presently downloading the XFree86-4.0.2-4mdk.src.rpm which I will build and install in hopes that it will fix some problems with my current 4.0.2-1mdk. I see in the directory that there is an XFree86-compat-3.3.6 rpm as well. I seem to recall building such a beast before - and as I recall, it produces, essentially, a full 3.3.6 set of rpms. Installing them bumped my XFree86 4.0.x setup off, running 3.3.6 instead. Is this that same beast or is it REALLY a set of compat libs/apps, that will not takeover from 4.0.2? -- Against stupidity, the gods themselves contend in vain ---- Praedor
