If you were Not offered a choice then 4.0.1 was installed.

If you are offered the choice of 3.3.6 with accel, or 4.0.1 without accel
reguardless of which option you choose 3.3.6 will be installed.
The work around for this during installation is Do Not accept the vid card
as shown. Either choose your actual card from the listings or choose 1 with
matching ram and comp props.
An example is if you have a Riva128 with 16MB and 3d accel the installation
will list it as Generic Riva128 you should cancel and from the new window
select the Change vid card option,
if your card is not listed choose either the GraphicsBlaster Riva128 or the
STB Velocity 4400. Set your monitor and res.,test and select done. 4.0.1
will then be installed.
