I think it's just you. Mine is great, working the way it should have before. I can have system event sounds and still get game sounds or cd sounds immediately after. I think each machine has it's own unique problems. My windows are not maximized when called up from the taskbar. Must manually maximize each time. I've heard other say they have this problem while others don't.
