Look at the /etc/http/conf/mod_ssl directory for ssl. The effort is
creating ssl certs. There is a tool in the contribs of openssl which
apparently makes life easier, but have not tried it.

Squid auth from smb can be done with smb_auth or auth_smb (can't
remember). Find it on freshmeat and follow the instructions. Make sure
your acls are set correctly in squid.conf.
