I had this problem when I reinstalled windows on my dual booting machine. And when I did an upgrade from 7.1 to 7.2. I had a boot floppy and it didn't work, also. I did a "quick" install. That is I acted like I was going to install 7.2 instead of upgrade but in actuality, I was getting to the partitioning portion. Saved and moved on to the next menu. When I got to the part about selecting packages, I choose to quit install and exit. I was able to boot into my LM7.2 with no problem. I hope this works for you. Cheers, -- Al
