Hi,
I 'm using 3 mount points, on 3 separate partitions,
for my mandrake 7.2 instal..
/dev/hda5 /
/dev/hda7 /usr
/dev/hda8 /home
I want to back up everything on /, format it then
restore. I don't want to do an image copy however,
because there's some kind of Inode problem in that
partiton I think the format will fix.
So, I just want to copy the files and direcotries
under /, but I don't know how to do this since this
would include special directories such as /dev /proc
etc..
I assume cp -Rp isn't going to cut it.....
Anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance :)
