I suppose you want to know how your ISP detect your browser ?? This is done by the env variables of your browser: REMOTE_HOST REMOTE_ADDRESS HTTP_USER_AGENT (THIS ONE= Mozilla/......) HTTP_REFERER A script CGI on the server analyse always foolwing var: REMOTE_HOST REMOTE_ADDR HTTP_USER_AGENT (I suppose you now what it's mean) Some browsers let you the choice of the signature of the HTTP_USER_AGENT (IE, netscape,etc...)
