Hello Experts!
Ran into a problem yesterday which I hope you can help me prevent in the
future.
I called in sick, and naturally a user came up with a KDE problem that
required my personal attention. I stumbled blearily into the office and
fixed it, but left without logging off of my workstation. Now, when my
users make this faux pas they are required to pay me by buying me a
drink (fortunately, my beverage of choice is Diet Coke). On the other
hand, when *I* do it, I buy the office donuts.
Yesterday I figured out I'd failed to log off after I got back home, but
couldn't figure out how to do it remotely. My systems are available
remotely via ssh. So, o great experts, is there a command that boils
down to "logoff user dimwit"? Or a particular process I could kill?
(pointers to man pages greedily accepted)
My fellow workers are busily chowing down on my fine. Help prevent
obesity! Thanks!
