Does your video share RAM with the system? I have 64M and 8 M is shared, so I
put mem=56k (something like that) in the boot files.

Perhaps someone can assist me on this problem which i am facing with LM 7.2
Configuration of my computer is :
Motherboard : ASUS A7V,
Processor : AMD Duron 600 Mhz,
Monitor : Philips 104E,
AGP Card : Trident 9750.
I am using XFree 4.01. After successful installation i am able to load the kde
and it is working fine. But after 5 to 10 minutes of loading X my computer
used to hang up and monitor screen is used to filled up by vertical stripes.
Then i have to switch off my computer. Two times it has damaged the FAT of
hard disk. In last 15 days i have installed linux 7.2 more than 10 times.
Still i am not able to get the solution for it. Previously Mandrake Linux 7.1
was working nice. Please let me know some solution for this problem.
