Hi all,
my first installation goes fine with LM-7.2 and XFree86-4 but no 3D
hardware acceleration with my Matrox G400 (do I need to compile 2.4
kernel with agpgart support?). Next step was to try out with XF-3.3.6
with GLX configured with 'XFdrake --expert'. Configuration and tests was
clear but when I've rebooted the X server the command 'XFree86 -version'
give me ... XFree86 Version 4.0.1... and bad things happened with
Blender dynamics (system hangs after display of a black Blender graphic
window).
Can oneone help me in correctly configuring the X server to run with
3.3.6 (and possibly with the ability to choose a different version like
4.0.1 for better 2D performances)?
