My instruction assumed you you might want flexibility.
The really simple answer would have been:
Type the full path: /usr/local/netscape/netscape &
The next most simple, add this to your ~/.bashrc:
alias ns="/usr/local/netscape/netscape &"
then:
source ~/.bashrc (or, start a new xterm), and type:
ns
