Just quickly, can anyone tell me where the kernel sourse RPM's unpack to??
I Just loaded them all from the CD, ( I need to recompile to get isa-pnp
support..)
and now I can't find where it put them, there is no Linux dir added to
usr/local or usr/src
I can't find where it put the files at all,,
The RPM's in question are...
kernel-source-2.2.17-21mdk.i586.rpm
kernel-headers-2.2.17-21mdk.i586.rpm
kernel-doc-2.2.17-21mdk.i586.rpm
I can't find where it put the source to recompile, and yet, when I go to
install again,, it tells me its all already there...
should I remove and start again?
or am I missing something...
also, what is the command to make slocate or locate update is db?
