Hi I have just ordered some parts to build my next pc. I am consiering setting up the hd with lvm before i install mandrake from scratch. Has anyone done this will the mandrake installer recognize lvm logical volumes and install onto them, is there anything i need to be aware of. I will be installing a self compiled 2.4.2 kernel with reiserfs and smp to run on an abit vp6 board, but just need to know if i will be able to get the basics running off of a standard install.
