I have an HP laserjet 5L. It configured easily under cups, and has worked
fine under both Linux and (sorry) Windows. I have it connected to a Linksys
printserver on my LAN, which has a built in LPR server. It was actually
easier to configure under Linux than windows. Presumably CUPS configured it
with its own driver for HPLJs.
