I have been running Mandrake 8 pre beta for a couple of weeks with only a few problems. I decided to install v8 b1 last night. The install went fine (my boy loved the pics) but I like to boot from floppy for now with b1. After Installation though, the system looked at the floppy and continued to boot from hd (my 7.2 install). I tossed the floppy into my laptop, and it reads fine. I decided to try a reinstall. Same thing. However I can put my Mandrake 7.2 boot disk in and it will boot fine. I reinstalled v8b1 like 4 times last night with no success other than a good install- ation.
