[expert] NEC Laptop Problems

I installed windows 98 first on the laptop. Then i tried installing mdk 7.2
on the second partition, with basically all options to see what was
available. It took a bizzare long time to try install (about 4 hours), so i
cancelled it ...has anyone experienced this with the mdl 7.2 install? I'll
reinstall and see what happens
