Is it possibel to make a disk image of a bootable DOS/Windows disk "give" it to
someone and they then could turn it back into a bootable DOS/Windows disk?
I have been trying to help a Linux-Newbie lady install Windows '95 on a VMware
virtual disk. From what she describes she has a bootable DOS disk but it does
not have CD-Rom support and a bootable OEM Windows '95 CD that complains and
fails when she tries install on a "not for this machine". I sounds like she
knows very little about Linux, nothing about DOS, and she was a Windows "point
n' clicker".
If this is posaible could someone point me to an information source? One that I
don't have to buy for $29.95. <smile>
And to answer the question I am SURE I will be asked. Why is she trying to do
this? I don't know.
