[expert] Apache error in 2.4 kernel

I've been using Apache on 2.2.x kernels for over a year and never had a problem with, now I built 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 kernels and Apache gives some mm error "failed to acquires shared memory segment " or something similar. I boot back into 2.217 and everything's smooth.  What's the problem? thanx
