Dear friends:
I have downloaded every Mozilla .8 file available from www.mozilla.org,
including Red Hat 6 rpms (RH 7 won'nt work on LM7.2 because they use rpm
v. 4), every tar.gz file, etc.
And every attempt to configure Mozilla .8 in Preferences has ended in
failure, whether you try to configure each individual item (Fonts,
Navigator -- even one font at a time) or the entire dialogue box. When
you click on OK, Mozilla .8 disappears from view with a "Segmentation
Fault" message. What's ironic about all this is that the same
Preferences box works perfectly in Mozilla .7. I just tested it once
again. But Preferences in Mozilla .8 is simply broke.
Is there any way to manually configure Preferences in Mozilla .8?
Has anyone else had this problem?
