[expert]common GROUP database for multiple LM72 machines

i usually install 2 users on 4 machines and as they all vary as to
content, eg couple have writers , i get different group numbers for
the same user.

Is there a way,  apart from basic install all the same, add users,
then add group adding items like xcdroast .......

all machines have varying hd's and video and eth and ,,,,,
