Thank Ron.  I agree with your response, and I also use the Linuxconf tool with
success.  However, why would Mandrake ship the drakxtools out when they don't
work?  Is this a lack of testing?  There doesn't even appear to be a LIBC 2.1
version which works! (I have had mixed results with GLIBC 2.2 especially in a
development environment).

Looking for quality, or at least a few upgrades.
